What is it?

IssAssist is a Software-as-a-Service product developed by IssTech with functionality that our customers demand and is an ongoing project to be more advanced and help our customers to work smarter and faster, basically helping our customers to be more automated. 

IssAssist is your backup assistant to help with your daily work and automate as much as possible, so you can focus on most critical tasks instead of doing the same work over and over again. By enabling your core products RESTful API language, IssAssist can communicate with multiple products. Together with your kubernetes platform can we in parallel work and automate functionalities such as automated restore tests, collecting meta data to help understand how your system has been used.

IssAssist can start several 100 parallel restore tests of random data to verify and make sure that you can restore your data when a disaster happens. IssAssist generates reports after each restore group is done so you can present to your customers or managers that your data is recoverable and see that your Service Level Agreement(SLA) has been fulfilled. To do an automatic restore test you not only understand if you can restore your data and if that fulfils your SLAs, it also helps you to be compatible with future European Union directive of Cyber Security Act like NIS2 and DORA. IssAssist is licensed by protected GB of data in your backup system after data reduction per month.

  • With IssAssist you can schedule a number of restore tests on a subset or a group of servers and get a full report on how fast your data can be recovered. With the reporting module you will have material that is useful for your management to understand the risk and be able to make the correct investment in their data recovery platform.

  • Hardware and software failure can always happen, so also with your backup data, things can always go wrong and one disaster never come alone. Therefore, with automatic restore tests we can detect unknown issues or unwanted scenarios as soon as possible and fix them before the disaster happends..

  • IssAssist does not give you the option to only test a few servers because of financial or resource limitations, it can do hundreds or even thousands of restore tests on daily, weekly or monthly basis without extra cost. For IssAssist no systems are not important enough, all your data is important.

  • IssAssist is what is says, it will help you with your repeatable tasks like make sure you gathering licensing data and return of investment data and much more.
